🌿 Our First Major Fundraising Push Has Begun! Join Us in Building the Samara SportsPark 🌞
We’re thrilled to share that Samara SportsPark has officially launched its first major fundraising campaign! This marks a huge milestone in our nonprofit effort to create a much-needed community sports park in the heart of Sámara, Costa Rica — a space where local youth and families can come together to play, connect, and grow.
Over the past year and a half, we’ve made incredible progress — securing a beautiful piece of land through the generous support of the Municipality of Nicoya, completing early development studies, and designing a safe, nature-friendly layout that includes:
A beginner-friendly skatepark
A multi-use basketball court
A kids’ playground and exercise stations
Shaded green spaces for picnics and gatherings
A small facility for equipment storage, food service, bathrooms, and security
Now, we’re entering the next phase: raising the funds to make it real.
💰 The Goal: $285,000 by November 25, 2025
This “Cash Call” marks the start of a close-network campaign — reaching out to friends, family, and supporters who believe in us and in the power of community action. Every dollar goes directly toward breaking ground and beginning construction of this beautiful, inclusive space that will serve generations to come.

Join Us in Building a Sports Park in Costa Rica!
Dear Friends and Family,
I hope this message finds you well as we head into the final stretch of 2025 — hard to believe it’s already here!
I’m reaching out to share an exciting project that is close to my heart; And to invite you to be part of it! You know me and you know that I am a very determined person. Along with our dedicated team, we are making this dream a REALITY for the humble community of Sámara, Costa Rica, in the Guanacaste region.
We are building a community-focused Sports Park, on a little under an acre of land. The project is designed to bring people together through healthy activity, creating a safe place to play and share the love for the outdoors. This space will include: a beginner friendly Skateboard Park, Basketball/Mixed use Court for all ages, a Kids playground area, Exercise Stations and walking paths. Plenty of shaded and grass areas will be kept/reserved for families to picnic and play, accompanied by a small facility for equipment, guard shack, food service and bathrooms.
Right NOW, we are entering a key phase: Raising funds to move our project to fruition. We have made great progress in the past year and a half.. To break ground, we are asking our close network—those who believe in us and in the power of collective action, to contribute to this awesome Sports Park for the Community of Sámara to utilize for generations. Remember, WE ARE ONE, no matter the geographical lines!
The Bottom Line is ensuring children have a safe place to grow and play safely!

· $65,000 Kids play area & Exercise Stations
· $35,000 Basketball and Multi use court
· $35,000 Retaining walls and Gates
· $20,000 1 facility: Guard Shack, Bathrooms, Equipment storage, Food Service
$289,000 is all it will take to get us moving
